Forum of girls-leaders in Zhytomyr

Forum of girls-leaders took part in Zhytomyr on April 20, 2013.

About 50 active girls of Zhytomyr region aged 17-23, having leadership abilities and own ideas of improving life of community could attend this event. some of the girls already have own volunteering experience in civil society organizations, some of them have just started to look for ways to apply their potential.

The event started with presentation of RFirst Step to Success All-Ukrainian Youth Program that had been involving purposeful girls to social activism since 2006. During these years 11 girls from Zhytomyr have become the program winners; majoriy of them continue working with people for the benefit of community. 

Participants shared ideas and proposals on how to solve the most topical problems of modern youth in Zhytomyr region. And received certificates of participants of Girls-Leaders Forum.  

The event was conducted by Parity Regional Youth NGO led by Natalia Kryvoi with support of Ukrainian Women's Fund
