Akopyan Karine, Kirovohrad, Project: Equal Access

• Organizing subsciption to newspaper for young disabled people in the region, and thus decreasing informatinal vacuum existing around these people, helping them show themselves creativly, learn the news of the movement of disabled people in the region and the entire country.
• The project leader consides that especial achievement is in the fact that publications outside the project limits arosed interst of other media representatives, who acted as additional partners and placed copies of materials with references to the newspaper "Vedomosti-plus" and special column within the project on their pages. There was an invitation to collaborate in placing information about disabled people's movement in all-Ukrainian newspapers covering problems of disabled people.
• Project "Equal Access" became the starting point in further development of civil sociey movement. Now the project "Let us see the world similarly", which won mini-grants competition in Kirovohrad region, is in the process of implemntation.
